Requirements

• Certification in phlebotomy or related field preferred
• Knowledge of proper blood collection techniques and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain procedures before collecting blood samples
• Verify patient information and ensure proper identification before drawing blood
• Collect blood samples from patients using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Label and organize collected samples for testing or storage
• Follow proper sanitation, sterilization, and safety procedures at all times
• Maintain accurate records of patient information, test results, and other data
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions as needed
• Communicate with healthcare professionals regarding test results or any issues that may arise during procedures
• Participate in continuing education to stay updated on new techniques, protocols, or equipment

About the Position

This position is for a skilled and experienced Phlebotomist at our medical center in Sakaka. The role involves drawing blood samples from patients for diagnostic testing, transfusions, donations, or research purposes, labeling and organizing samples, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
