Responsibilities

Dispense medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists.
Ensure all prescriptions are accurately filled according to physicians' instructions.
Receive, store, and inventory drugs and medical supplies.
Monitor drug therapies for safety, effectiveness, and cost-effectiveness.
Follow up with patients to ensure prescribed medications are taken correctly.
Advise patients on proper use of medications and potential interactions.
Maintain accurate patient records.
