Position: Oracle EBS / eAM API & Interface Developer
Location: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Reporting To: Technical Lead / Oracle eAM Functional Lead / Project Manager
1. Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS / eAM API & Interface Developer to design, develop, test, and support technical integrations for Enterprise Asset Management (eAM), Asset Bill of Materials (BOM), and Asset Master Data.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing APIs, interfaces, and data migration solutions for Asset BOM creation, Asset Hierarchy integration, and Enterprise Asset Management implementations. The role requires close collaboration with functional consultants, engineering teams, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of asset, inventory, and maintenance data within Oracle E-Business Suite.
2. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain APIs for creating Asset Bills of Materials (Asset BOM) within Oracle eAM.
- Develop interfaces to create, update, and maintain existing Asset BOMs, including adding, modifying, and removing components.
- Support the preparation, validation, and loading of Asset Master Data using FBDI (File-Based Data Import) or other approved migration methods.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Oracle Inventory and Oracle eAM to ensure accurate material and spare parts linkage.
- Coordinate with Functional Consultants, Engineering teams, Maintenance teams, and IT teams during technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Perform technical analysis, field mapping, data transformation, and interface development based on business requirements.
- Develop robust PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, concurrent programs, and database objects.
- Implement comprehensive exception handling, logging, validation, and error recovery mechanisms.
- Prepare technical design documents, API specifications, interface documents, mapping documents, and deployment guides.
- Support Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Production Deployment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to Asset BOMs, Inventory integration, Asset Hierarchy, and Enterprise Asset Management.
- Optimize interface performance and ensure adherence to Oracle development standards and best practices.
- Support data migration, production support, defect resolution, and post-go-live activities.
3. Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS R12 / R12.2.x).
- Technical expertise in Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (Oracle eAM).

- Knowledge of Asset Master Data, Material Master Data, Spare Parts Management, and Enterprise Asset Management processes.
- Experience in technical data mapping, interface validation, and migration strategies.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, JSON, and integration technologies is an advantage.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning skills.
- Ability to work closely with Functional Consultants, Business Users, and IT teams.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
4. Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) implementations and Asset Master Data migration.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications, Oracle Fusion Maintenance, or Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Exposure to Oracle Web ADI, Oracle Open Interfaces, and Integration Frameworks.
- Experience with Asset BOM, Preventive Maintenance, Work Orders, and Maintenance Planning.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Utilities, Water & Wastewater, Power Generation, Manufacturing, Mining, or Heavy Industrial sectors.
- GCC or Middle East project experience will be an added advantage.
5. Experience & Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of Oracle EBS Technical development experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands‑on experience developing Oracle eAM, Asset BOM, Oracle Inventory, or Enterprise Asset Management integrations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to prepare technical documentation and interact with cross‑functional teams.
- Ability to work full‑time onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
6. Role Boundaries:
- This is a technical Oracle EBS/eAM development role focused on APIs, interfaces, and Enterprise Asset Management integrations.
- The role is not responsible for functional consulting, business process definition, or functional configuration.
- The role is not responsible for Material Master creation, but will support Material Master integration and Asset BOM interface development.
- The role is responsible for API development, interface implementation, data migration, technical support, deployment, and production issue resolution.
