Job summary

Stax Logistics in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Container Terminal Supervisor to oversee daily yard activities and ensure safe, efficient container operations on-site. The role requires hands-on supervision of yard operations and coordination of equipment operators and yard staff.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of direct container terminal or depot experience, strong knowledge of stacking, gate-in/out, and yard planning, and proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Direct operational experience in container terminals or depots is mandatory.
• Hands-on supervision of yard or depot operations required.
• Strong knowledge of stacking, yard planning, gate-in/gate-out, and container handling.
• Experience coordinating reach stackers, empty container handlers, and operators.
• Ability to supervise teams, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
• Familiarity with container inventory systems, YMS, or TOS.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Company Description

Stax Logistics is a Saudi-based container terminal and logistics company specializing in container storage and handling, empty and laden container operations, reefer services, and related terminal services.

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Container Terminal Supervisor to oversee daily yard activities and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient container operations.

The supervisor will coordinate container movements, oversee equipment operators and yard personnel, monitor daily activities, and ensure that all operations are carried out according to established procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in container terminals, container depots, or Empty Container Depots (ECDs) is mandatory.
• Hands-on experience supervising actual container yard or depot operations.
• Strong knowledge of container stacking, yard planning, gate-in/gate-out, and container handling.
• Experience coordinating reach stackers, empty container handlers, and equipment operators.
• Ability to supervise operational teams, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance.
• Familiarity with container inventory systems, YMS, or TOS.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant operational or technical qualifications are preferred.

This position is exclusively for candidates with direct operational experience in container terminals or container depots.

Candidates with backgrounds limited to general logistics, freight forwarding, shipping agencies, transportation, or supply chain management will NOT be considered.
