Job summary

EPSA is seeking a skilled Production Supervisor to coordinate extraction, loading, hauling, and dumping in open-pit mining operations. You will ensure adherence to production plans and safety, quality, and environmental standards.

You will lead and train a team, coordinate with maintenance, and monitor KPIs to drive productivity while reducing costs. The role requires a technical degree and 3–5 years of supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in open‑pit mining.
• Knowledge of mine planning, safety and environmental management.
• Proficiency in mining software and reporting tools.
• Strong leadership and communication, with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations related to extraction, loading, hauling, and dumping of ore and waste material.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor operational performance indicators and report deviations.
• Recommend process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Train, evaluate, and motivate team members under supervision.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
