Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Field Engineer - Mechanical to supervise mechanical construction activities on a major Riyadh project. The role requires ensuring HVAC, plumbing, drainage and related systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with drawings, specs and codes.

You will work with the Resident Engineer, MEP team, and contractors to drive safe, quality delivery. Ideal candidates have 8+ years in mechanical engineering and construction supervision, with 5+ years in field

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of professional experience in mechanical engineering and construction supervision.
5+ years as Mechanical Field Engineer, Site Engineer, or Inspector on major building projects.

Responsibilities

Supervise and inspect mechanical construction works per drawings, specs and contract requirements.
Monitor installation activities for HVAC, plumbing, drainage and related systems.
Review shop drawings, submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
Verify equipment and materials compliance with submittals and project specs.
Conduct site inspections for quality workmanship and installation standards.
Coordinate mechanical works with architectural, structural, electrical and specialist systems.
