Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Offshore Structural Engineer to join the Asset Based Services team within Offshore Structural Engineering. You will support the structural design of jackets and topsides, delivering analyses and deliverables that meet project requirements.

Requires a Civil Engineering degree (Master’s or Bachelor’s) and preferably 1–2 years offshore experience. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with AutoCAD and FEM software will help you thrive in a collaborative project environment.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 1–2 years offshore engineering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with AutoCAD and FEM software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analyses, calculations and design activities for jackets and topsides.
• Interface with project specialists/designers to ensure coordinated execution.
• Review technical activities and provide guidance aligned with codes and safety requirements.
• Contribute to project documentation and design deliverables.

Purpose of the position

As Offshore Structural Engineer you will be part of the Asset Based Services Business Line within Offshore Structural Engineering dept. You will support in structural design of jackets and top sides.

How can you support us?

• Perform technical tasks assigned by the Project Structural Lead, including structural analyses, calculations, design activities, verification and dedicated studies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Interface effectively with other Project Specialists and Designers, sharing information, clarifying technical aspects, and supporting a smooth and coordinated project execution.
• Co-ordinate and review technical activities performed both within Saipem and by external parties, providing guidance, feedback and alignment with project objectives and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to the preparation of project documentation, such as reports, specifications and design deliverables, maintaining quality and meeting project deadlines.
• Support the implementation of company procedures, international codes and safety requirements throughout all engineering activities.

What are we looking for?

Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: Civil Engineering

Background: Preferably 1-2 years of experience in offshore engineering

Technical Knowledge: MS Office, preferred knowledge of AutoCAD and FEM analysis software’s
