Job summary

Penspen is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (Offshore) to lead structural oversight for offshore EPC projects in India. You will review calculations, general arrangement drawings, and foundation packages to ensure code compliance (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API) and project integrity from procurement through construction.

Candidates should have 12 years in Civil/Structural engineering with 6 years in oil & gas/petrochemical onshore structures and a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years within Civil/Structural Engineering related to major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Experience with offshore/offshore related projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities.
• Review structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages.
• Ensure structural integrity, constructability, and seismic compliance of facilities.
• Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions.
• Provide technical support during procurement and construction, including review of submittals and method statements.

Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer for one of our Offshore PMC projects in India.

About The Job

Provide structural engineering oversight and technical review of EPC contractor deliverables for onshore facilities. Review structural design calculations, general arrangement drawings, steel and concrete detailing, and foundation design packages for compliance with project specifications and applicable codes (ACI, AISC, ASCE, API). Ensure structural integrity, constructability, and seismic compliance of facilities. Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and value engineering sessions. Provide technical support to the project management team during procurement and construction phases, including review of material submittals and structural method statements. Monitor EPC contractor performance to ensure schedule adherence and quality of deliverables.

Required Experience Criteria In Years

Twelve (12) years of experience; Six (6) years of them within the field of Civil /Structural Engineering related to structures for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical Onshore projects.

Minimum Education Qualification Required

Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.

Preferred Experience

• Saudi Aramco offshore projects.
• Fabrication yard experience.
• Jacket installation campaign support.
