Job summary

Confidentiel in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced R&D professional to develop and improve nut-based products, drive innovation, and support successful commercialization. You will ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance while delivering market-ready offerings.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Supply Chain to optimize formulations, packaging, and shelf-life. Strong project management and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Food Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in Research & Development within the Food & Beverage or FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in nuts product development is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop new nut-based products, including roasted, flavored, coated, and mixed nuts.
• Improve existing products in terms of taste, texture, quality, shelf life, and cost efficiency.
• Conduct laboratory, pilot, and factory production trials and analyze results.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Procurement, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development process.
• Evaluate and approve raw materials, ingredients, seasonings, and packaging solutions.
• Perform sensory evaluations and product benchmarking against competitors.
• Monitor market trends and consumer insights to identify product innovation opportunities.
• Prepare product formulations, specifications, processing parameters, and technical documentation.
• Lead shelf-life studies and product stability assessments.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing teams and troubleshoot product or process-related issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, efficiency, and innovation.
