Job summary

BAE Systems in Dhahran is seeking a Grade G06 naval training professional to deliver the Naval Specialty Training curriculum, focusing on Quartermaster elements, and to support assessments, remedial courses, and courseware improvements.

The role requires five years of practical specialty experience and at least two years of instructional work in the last six years, with desirable knowledge of navigation, signaling, and bridge trainer experience. Internal staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years practical experience in their specialty.
• At least two (2) years recent instructional experience (within the last six (6) years).
• Knowledge of navigation and chart upkeep, Maritime Tactical and Administration Voice procedures, Visual Signaling Techniques incl. flags and Morse code, and Bridge Trainer experience (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver Naval Specialty Training curriculum, including Quartermaster elements.
• Support invigilation for assessments.

Responsibilities

The post holder is responsible for:

• delivering Naval Specialty Training curriculum and, in particular, Quartermaster specific elements.
• supporting invigilation activities for assessments.
• supporting remedial training activities.
• writing assessment materials.
• supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
• writing Trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements.

The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.

The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by the NST Management Team, which aligns with Company business.

Job Requirements

Experience

• have five (5) years practical experience in their specialty,
• shall have at least two (2) years recent instructional experience (within the last six (6) years).

Desirable

The post holder should:

• have knowledge of navigation and chart upkeep experience,
• have knowledge of Maritime Tactical and Administration Voice procedures,
• have knowledge of Visual Signaling Techniques including flags and Morse code,
• have experience and knowledge of a working Bridge Trainer
