Job summary

BAE Systems in Dhahran is seeking an NST Instructor – Quartermaster to deliver Naval Specialty Training curriculum and operate to high standards of integrity and professionalism.

Key duties include delivering Quartermaster training, invigilating assessments, writing materials, and supporting courseware improvements. The role requires 5 years in the specialty and at least 2 years of instructional experience, with a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Five years practical experience in their specialty.
• At least two years recent instructional experience (within the last six years).
• Knowledge of navigation and chart upkeep experience.
• Knowledge of Maritime Tactical and Administration Voice procedures.
• Knowledge of Visual Signaling Techniques including flags and Morse code.

Responsibilities

• Delivering Naval Specialty Training curriculum and Quartermaster elements.
• Supporting invigilation activities for assessments.
• Supporting remedial training activities.
• Writing assessment materials.
• Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media.
• Writing Trainee reports as required to meet customer requirements.
• Ensuring completion of other reasonable requests by NST Management Team.
