Job summary

Exequt is a Riyadh-based cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure services company seeking a Network Engineer to keep customer and internal networks reliable, secure, and high performing.

The role focuses on configuring, monitoring, and securing core infrastructure, VPNs, and security controls within Saudi Arabia's enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI networking, VLANs, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
• Hands-on with Cisco switches/routers and Fortinet security technologies.
• Experience with VPNs, high availability, and centralized management.
• Able to read diagrams, write reports, and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot core and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage Cisco switches/routers and Fortinet firewalls and VPNs.
• Monitor availability, performance, capacity, and security events; escalate.
• Investigate connectivity issues and document root causes.
• Execute approved changes, upgrades, backups, and change control.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, SOC, and client teams on secure design.
• Maintain diagrams, asset records, procedures, and technical reports.
• Support Saudi cyber security compliance projects.

Job Summary

Exequt is a Riyadh-based cybersecurity, networking, and infrastructure services company supporting banks, ministries, and enterprises across Saudi Arabia. We are seeking a Network Engineer to help maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing customer and internal networks.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot core and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and support Cisco and Fortinet switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and related security controls.
• Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security events, escalating incidents when required.
• Investigate connectivity, routing, switching, and access issues and document root-cause findings.
• Implement approved network changes, upgrades, backups, and configuration standards with appropriate change control.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, SOC, infrastructure, and client teams on secure network design and incident response.
• Maintain accurate diagrams, asset records, operating procedures, and technical reports.
• Support compliance-focused projects aligned with applicable Saudi cybersecurity and information security requirements.

Job Specification

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI networking, VLANs, trunking, STP, subnetting, routing, DNS, DHCP, and NAT.
• Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers, and security technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, security policies, VPNs, high availability, and centralized management.
• Ability to use monitoring, logging, packet capture, and network diagnostic tools to isolate faults.
• Understanding of network segmentation, access control, secure remote access, and defense-in-depth principles.
• Familiarity with change management, configuration backup, network documentation, and incident ticketing.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, write clear reports, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of EDR, SOC workflows, Zero Trust concepts, ISO 27001, NCA controls, or Saudi compliance environments is advantageous.
