Job summary

Musanadah is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations across facilities and contracts in Riyadh region. You will ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of building systems and manage budgets and asset records.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Electrical or Building Services, 10+ years in facilities management with 8+ years in leadership, and GCC regulatory familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in facilities management/engineering operations, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
• SCE registration required; PMP/NEBOSH/IOSH or asset management certifications preferred.
• Extensive GCC market experience and regulatory familiarity.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and maintenance operations across facilities and contracts.
• Ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of building services systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & life safety).
• Develop and manage planned preventive maintenance programs per standards and client requirements.
• Monitor performance against SLAs and KPIs; implement corrective actions.
• Mentor and develop engineering supervisors, engineers, and staff.
• Maintain CMMS asset records and compliance documentation.
• Develop and control engineering budgets and resource plans.

Role & Responsibilities

The Engineering Manager leads engineering and maintenance operations across assigned facilities and contracts, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of building systems, compliance, asset management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire and life safety, and building services systems.
• Develop and manage planned preventive maintenance programs in line with SFG20 standards and client contractual requirements.
• Monitor engineering performance against SLAs and KPIs, implementing corrective action where needed.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering supervisors, engineers, and technical staff.
• Maintain the integrity of the CMMS asset register and ensure complete maintenance and compliance records.
• Develop and control engineering budgets, resource plans, and operational expenditure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in facilities management, engineering operations, or building services, including at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration required; PMP, NEBOSH/IOSH, or facilities/asset management certifications preferred.
• Extensive experience delivering engineering services within the GCC market and its regulatory environment.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills.
