Job summary

MIS - Al Moammar Information Systems Co. in Riyadh seeks an experienced IT infrastructure monitoring expert to own SolarWinds and related platforms, optimize alerts and dashboards, and ensure high availability across the enterprise.

The role covers PRTG, Site24x7, and data center monitoring, with a focus on performance visibility and reduced false alarms. You will automate tasks via PowerShell/Python, integrate with ServiceNow, and support EOC incident analysis and escalation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in IT infrastructure monitoring with 4+ years SolarWinds in large environments.
• Experience designing/ tuning SolarWinds alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Hands-on SolarWinds, PRTG, and Site24x7 administration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SWQL, SNMP, WMI, ICMP, syslog, NetFlow.
• Proficient in PowerShell or Python scripting; Windows/Linux server awareness.
• Familiar with ServiceNow ITIL incident/change/even management.
• Fluency in Arabic; good English communication. SCP and ITIL4F preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer SolarWinds Orion/Hybrid Cloud platform modules and licensing.
• Configure alerts, dashboards, dependencies, and performance monitoring.
• Administer PRTG core servers, probes, sensors, thresholds, maps, and reports.
• Maintain Site24x7 and support data center monitoring via Liebert SiteScan.
• Ensure coverage for servers, networks, apps, and infrastructure with escalation.
• Automate monitoring tasks using PowerShell/Python and SolarWinds API/SWQL/SQL.
• Integrate alerts with ServiceNow and assist EOC in incident analysis and root-cause investigations.
• Manage platform security, access controls, changes, and upgrades per procedures.
• Prepare availability/performance reports, maintain docs, and train EOC staff.
• Provide out-of-hours support for critical incidents when required.

Job description

• Own and administer the SolarWinds Orion / Hybrid Cloud Observability platform, including modules, polling engines, high availability, database performance, upgrades, and licensing.
• Configure and optimize SolarWinds alerts, dashboards, reports, dependencies, and performance monitoring to improve visibility and reduce false alarms.
• Administer PRTG Network Monitor, including core servers, remote probes, sensors, thresholds, notifications, maps, and reports.
• Maintain Site24x7 and support data center monitoring through Liebert SiteScan.
• Ensure monitoring coverage for servers, networks, applications, and infrastructure services, coordinating with technical teams on requirements and escalations.
• Automate monitoring tasks and integrations using PowerShell/Python, SolarWinds API/SDK, SWQL, and SQL.
• Integrate monitoring alerts with ServiceNow and support the EOC in event analysis, incident escalation, and root-cause investigations.
• Manage monitoring platform security, access controls, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.
• Prepare availability and performance reports, maintain technical documentation, and train EOC staff.
• Support knowledge transfer and provide out-of-hours assistance for critical incidents when required.

Requirements

• BSc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ Yrs. of IT infrastructure monitoring experience, including at least 4 years of hands‑on SolarWinds administration in large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience designing and tuning SolarWinds alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Hands‑on experience administering PRTG Network Monitor.
• Expert knowledge of SolarWinds modules, scalability, polling engines, high availability, and platform maintenance.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server, SWQL, monitoring protocols (SNMP, WMI, ICMP, syslog, and NetFlow), and PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Understanding of Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and performance troubleshooting.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITIL incident, event, and change management processes.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic, with good English communication skills.
• SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) and ITIL 4 Foundation certifications are preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
