Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking a Mine Manager in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to lead upstream exploration and extraction activities feeding our refining operations. This role ensures a steady supply of ore while complying with MIM regulations and safety standards.
The Mine Manager will report to the VP of Operation and Technical, drive mine planning integration with refinery capacity, oversee drilling, blasting, and contractor oversight, and promote Saudization within the workforce.

This role ensures the consistent supply of gold‑bearing ore and dore while maintaining strict compliance with Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources (MIM) regulations. The Mine Manager will optimize production efficiency and safety standards to support SGR's contribution to the Kingdom's mining sector growth.
The Mine Manager will report directly to the VP of Operation and Technical and will play a key role in integrating mine planning with refinery capacity requirements. This position drives operational excellence in drilling, blasting, and hauling while fostering a culture of safety and regulatory adherence.
The Mine Manager will be responsible for the following key areas of operation and compliance.
The role develops and executes annual mine plans to ensure consistent ore delivery that meets grade and tonnage specifications for the refinery.
This position maintains all necessary mining licenses and environmental permits by submitting accurate reports to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
The Mine Manager enforces strict health and safety protocols including permit‑to‑work systems to achieve zero lost‑time injuries across all sites.
This role manages third‑party drilling and earthmoving contractors to ensure equipment availability and adherence to service level agreements.
The position oversees geological data collection and resource modeling to update reserve estimates in line with Saudi Geological Survey standards.
The Mine Manager controls operational expenditures for mining activities and optimizes fuel and maintenance costs for heavy machinery.
This role engages with local communities and government authorities to maintain social license and operational continuity in mining regions.
The position leads recruitment and training initiatives to build a skilled workforce of Saudi nationals and experienced expatriate.
