Job summary

Consult Pro, a fintech company in Riyadh, seeks a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to verify new merchant accounts, review CR and UBO declarations, and ensure go-live readiness. You will manage documentation controls, case queues, and stakeholder communications to maintain accurate, up-to-date onboarding records.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in merchant onboarding, KYB, or operations compliance at fintechs or banks, with hands-on CR/UBO review experience and fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in merchant onboarding, KYB, or operations compliance at fintech/bank.
• Hands-on experience reviewing CRs and UBO declarations is required.
• Strong understanding of regional business registries and AML red flags.

Responsibilities

• Review Commercial Registration (CR) documents for accuracy and validity.
• Confirm business details match official registry records.
• Maintain organized documentation records for every merchant reviewed.
• Review Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO) declarations and ownership structures.
• Identify incomplete or inconsistent ownership disclosures.
• Escalate complex ownership structures for further review.
• Flag high-risk merchant profiles to the Compliance team.
• Request additional documentation from merchants when gaps are found.
• Track outstanding document requests through to resolution.
• Manage the merchant onboarding queue against agreed SLA targets.
• Keep onboarding records updated in the case management system.
• Communicate onboarding status clearly to merchants and internal stakeholders.

A reputable financial technology company is seeking a high-caliber Merchant Onboarding Specialist to own the verification of every new merchant account, reviewing Commercial Registration documents and Ultimate Beneficial Owner declarations before go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Review Commercial Registration (CR) documents for accuracy and validity

Role Requirements

Experience & Background

• Hands-on experience reviewing CRs and UBO declarations is required
