Job summary

Soholat is seeking a proactive Merchant Acquisition professional to join our team in Saudi Arabia. You will identify target merchants, conduct field visits, and pitch our platform to help them launch and reach their first sales.

You will also onboard merchants, support product uploads, and coordinate their first live stream while building lasting relationships and driving monthly targets. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or account management.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to conduct field visits and face-to-face meetings.
• Self-motivated and results-driven.
• Familiarity with e-commerce or marketplace businesses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and onboard merchants and local business owners to the platform, helping them launch successfully and generate their first sales.
• Merchant onboarding: assist merchants with registration and account setup, product uploads and activation, and first live stream.
• Relationship management: build long-term merchant relationships and gather feedback for management.
• Sales & performance: achieve monthly acquisition targets and improve activation and conversion rates.
• KPIs: number of acquired, activated, and selling merchants; lead-to-signup, merchant activation, first-sale conversion, and 30-day retention.

Key Responsibilities

Merchant Acquisition

• Identify and approach target merchants.
• Conduct field visits and meetings.
• Present the platform and its benefits.
• Build and maintain a merchant pipeline.
• Generate qualified merchant leads.

Merchant Onboarding

• Assist merchants with registration and account setup.
• Support product uploads and account activation.
• Coordinate the merchant’s first live stream.
• Follow up until the first successful sale.

Relationship Management

• Build long-term merchant relationships.
• Gather merchant feedback and requirements.
• Report opportunities and challenges to management.
• Maintain regular communication with merchants.

Sales & Performance

• Achieve monthly acquisition targets.
• Increase merchant activation rates.
• Improve merchant conversion rates.
• Support merchants in becoming active sellers.
• Experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, or account management.
