Job summary

Fletcher Piccolo Associates (FPA) is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager in Dammam to oversee the mechanical, electrical and plumbing packages across major building projects. You will coordinate with civil, structural and finishing teams and lead subcontractors to deliver works safely, on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 12–15+ years in MEP construction, proven main contractor experience, and strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with Saudi/GCC

Qualifications

• 12–15+ years' experience in MEP construction and main contractor projects.
• Experience delivering MEP packages on large building projects.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, testing and commissioning.
• Experience managing MEP subcontractors and specialists.
• Saudi/GCC experience preferred.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all MEP activities across assigned building projects.
• Oversee mechanical, electrical, plumbing and associated specialist MEP packages.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural and finishing teams.
• Manage MEP subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors.
• Review drawings, specifications, material submittals and technical submissions.
• Monitor MEP programmes and ensure works are delivered in line with project milestones.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients to resolve technical and design issues.
• Ensure all MEP installations comply with project specifications, applicable standards and authority requirements.
• Monitor testing, commissioning and final handover of all MEP systems.
• Work closely with commercial, procurement, planning and QA/QC teams.
• Monitor MEP budgets, variations, procurement and subcontractor performance.
• Identify and resolve technical, programme and coordination issues.Lead MEP progress meetings and provide regular updates to project management.
• Ensure high standards of HSE, quality and construction delivery are maintained.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing works, ensuring MEP packages are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

• 12–15+ years' experience in MEP construction.
• Proven experience working for a main contractor.
• Strong experience delivering MEP packages on building projects.
• Experience managing mechanical, electrical and plumbing works across large-scale developments.
• Strong understanding of MEP coordination, installation, testing and commissioning.
• Previous experience managing MEP subcontractors and specialist contractors.
• Strong client and consultant-facing experience.
• Saudi / GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple MEP packages and coordinate effectively with the wider construction team.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes, procurement and project delivery.
• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
