Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced professional to supervise MEP works on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires 10-12 years of experience in marine infrastructure projects, strong knowledge of MEP systems installation, and compliance with international and KSA standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. SCE Registration is a must for this position.

Qualifications

  • 10–12 years of experience in marine infrastructure projects.
  • SCE Registration is mandatory.
  • Thorough understanding of MEP systems in marine environments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and inspect MEP works on-site for compliance.
  • Coordinate with contractors and engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, monitor, and inspect MEP works on-site to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate daily with the contractor, subcontractors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Review MEP drawings, method statements, shop drawings, and material submissions.
  • Ensure all MEP installations align with project quality standards and client requirements.
  • Support construction progress by identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
  • Prepare site inspection reports, daily logs, and progress updates.
  • Ensure site safety, adherence to regulations, and implementation of HSE procedures.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with the client, contractor, and project team.
  • Ensure MEP works integrate properly with civil and marine structures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • 10–12 years of experience, with strong exposure to maritime or marine infrastructure projects (ports, harbors, coastal facilities, marine utilities).
  • SCE Registration is mandatory.
  • Thorough understanding of MEP systems installation in marine environments.
  • Strong knowledge of international and KSA codes/standards.
  • Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment with multidisciplinary teams.
