Job summary

Power International Holding (PIH) seeks a Mechanical Technical Engineer to supervise draftsmen, verify shop drawings, and ensure submissions meet design drawings and QCS2014 standards on large projects in Saudi Arabia. The role coordinates with architects, structures, and other disciplines to keep schedules and quality on track.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, track record in construction environments, and UPDA certification or equivalent, with experience in GCC

Qualifications

• Technical background and ability to prepare and maintain tracking schedules.
• Technical knowledge of Mechanical Engineering parameters.
• Strong Knowledge of the Construction Field.
• Mechanical codes and Standards.
• NFPA.
• Local Regulations.
• UPDA Certified Engineer or Certification with attestation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and follow up mechanical draftsmen work schedule.
• Verify and check mechanical shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Ensure discipline shop drawings align with design drawings and specifications.
• Maintain submission schedule within target schedule and quality targets.
• Ensure drawings comply with local authorities (Health and Safety, QCS2014).
• Review and approve Mechanical shop drawings before submission.
• Review and approve Mechanical design calculations before submission.
• Review and sign-off Mechanical material submittals before consultant issuance.
• Review and approve method statements per project specs and authorities.
• Liaise with architect, structural, and other teams for reviews and approvals.
• Support HSE initiatives and safety reporting in line with IMS.
