Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking experienced Mechanical QC Inspectors specialized in pressure vessels to perform quality inspection and verification activities in line with project requirements, approved procedures, and applicable standards. The role covers fabrication, inspection, testing, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality norms.

The position requires strong hands-on experience in pressure vessel inspection, with CBT or equivalent certifications highly valued.

Qualifications

• Min 6 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants.
• Mechanical discipline as core requirement.
• Experience with pressure vessel inspection and related standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and quality surveillance of pressure vessel fabrication and assembly activities.
• Verify materials, fabrication, welding, dimensional control, testing, and final inspection requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and pressure vessel requirements.
• Monitor welding, fit-up, NDT, pressure testing and other inspection activities.
• Identify and report non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare and review inspection reports, checklists, test records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with fabrication, engineering, QA/QC, and client inspection teams.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, NBIC, SEC VIII-DIV-01/02, SSPC requirements.
• Support client inspections, testing, and final acceptance activities.

The role involves ensuring fabrication, inspection, testing, and documentation meet required quality and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and quality surveillance of pressure vessel fabrication and assembly activities.
• Verify materials, fabrication, welding, dimensional control, testing, and final inspection requirements.
• Review drawings, specifications, inspection procedures, and applicable pressure vessel requirements.
• Monitor welding, fit-up, NDT, pressure testing, and other inspection activities as applicable.
• Identify and report non-conformities and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
• Prepare and review inspection reports, checklists, test records, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate with fabrication, engineering, QA/QC, and client inspection teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable ASME, NBIC, SECVIII-DIV-01, SECVIII-DIV-02, and SSPC requirements.
• Support client inspections, testing, and final acceptance activities.

Mandatory Requirements

• Discipline: Mechanical
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of inspection experience in manufacturing plants,
• Position/Classification: QM-03 / QM-30
• Strong experience in Pressure Vessel inspection.
• Passing Pressure Vessels CBT and Interview is required.
• CBT requirement is waived if the candidate holds any of the following:
  • ASME Authorized Inspector certification.
  • Valid CSWIP 3.1 / AWS CWI + API 510 combination.
  • Valid NBIC certification.
• Knowledge/certification exposure to SECVIII-DIV-01, SECVIII-DIV-02, and SSPC requirements.
