Job summary

Koch is seeking an engineering professional to provide on-the-floor support for operations and maintenance, focusing on equipment performance and safety improvements. You will help transform the plant through automation upgrades, process enhancements, and scalable transformation priorities.

You will read and modify drawings, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide training to maintenance and production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of equipment safety systems and safe working practices.
• Ability to read and interpret pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with conveyors, air compressors, fans, mixers, chillers, cooling towers, RO/DI plants, and generators.
• Experience in continuous process automation plants.
• Experience leading engineering projects and with fluid systems (air, cooling water, pure water).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-the-floor engineering support to operations and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot equipment and evaluate system capabilities.
• Promote a safety culture by addressing unsafe conditions and behaviors.
• Execute capital projects upgrading plant systems and equipment.
• Generate mechanical requirements and cost estimates for upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project success.
• Oversee installation, operation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment.
• Read, modify and create technical drawings and models.
• Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production.
• Investigate failures and propose solutions to manufacturing processes.
