Job summary

GDC Middle East الشركة السعودية لتهيئة و صيانة الطائرات is seeking an experienced aircraft maintenance technician to perform removal and installation of subsystems on MD-500 series aircraft and to prepare aircraft for inspections.

Responsibilities include scheduled and unscheduled servicing, logbook updates, access to manufacturer documentation, parts coordination, and participation in a Saudi workforce development program. FAA A&P certification is required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or 5 years of direct relevant experience.
• Holds an FAA (or equivalent) A&P Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all maintenance functions on MD-500 series aircraft are performed per current technical publications and procedures.
• Responsible for daily maintenance of assigned aircraft.
• Coordinates maintenance training activities through lead mechanic.
• Supports Saudization/localization efforts.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Job description

Job Requirements:

• Removes and installs aircraft subsystem assemblies and components (e.g., engines, rotors, transmissions, flight controls, etc.).Performs scheduled and unscheduled services on aircraft, subassemblies, components, and aerospace ground support equipment.
• Assists in preparing aircraft for inspections and services
• Performs scheduled inspections and services; annotates logbook and records.
• Accomplishes operator maintenance on ground equipment, test sets, and special tools.
• Solves moderate problems by conducting analysis using manufacturer technical documentation.
• Uses available online manuals and industry-standardized documentation to access critical information for services.
• Works with supply personnel to order and receive parts per work order instructions.
• Accomplishes other support tasks as assigned by the Facility Maintenance Manager.
• High School Graduate or 5 years of direct relevant experience.

Major Duties And Responsibilities:

• Ensures all maintenance functions conducted on the MD-500 series aircraft are performed IAW all current applicable technical publications and established procedures.
• Responsible for the compliance of established maintenance systems, processes, procedures, and reports that provide immediate situational awareness of platform OR rates.
• Responsible for the daily maintenance of individually assigned aircraft.
• Works within the maintenance quality control processes, procedures, standards.
• Reports to direct inquires, investigations, and research analysis related to aviation maintenance of MD-500 series aircraft and supporting maintenance activities.
• Responsible for the individual general maintenance training, job book currency and qualifications of assigned Customer maintenance personnel.
• Performs activities and requirements for maintenance operations support through the Maintenance Manager/lead mechanic as required or applicable
• Coordinates through lead mechanic for daily and weekly maintenance training activities.
• Supports a professional development program in support of Saudization-localization.
• Other duties as assigned and or directed by management.
