Job summary

Salama Engineering is seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to manage day-to-day store and material control activities within our Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger fabrication facility. The candidate will be responsible for receiving, storing, controlling, and issuing raw materials, fabrication materials, consumables, tools, spare parts, and other project-related materials.

Supervise Storekeepers and other store personnel, ensure proper inventory records, and coordinate with Procurement,

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 8–10 years of experience in stores/warehouse/material control.
• Oil & Gas / fabrication industry experience preferred.
• Experience with pressure vessel/heavy fabrication materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations and ensure smooth material flow to fabrication workshop.
• Receive and verify materials against POs, delivery notes and specs.
• Maintain proper tagging, storage and preservation of materials.
• Manage inventory of steel plates, pipes, fittings, flanges, and consumables.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Projects, QC and Engineering for material requirements.
• Ensure materials are issued to production based on approved requests.
• Maintain inventory records and update ERP transactions.
