Job summary

Pilog is seeking a detail-oriented Material Engineer in Saudi Arabia to support material cataloguing and master data management. You will convert catalogs into a structured, standardized format and ensure data quality while coordinating with project teams.

The role focuses on data cleansing, enrichment, standardization, and maintaining material and vendor master data. Requires 3+ years in related areas and familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instrumentation, electrical, or mechanical engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in material cataloguing, master data management, and spare parts management preferred.
• Familiarity with UNSPSC and material coding concepts is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Structure material and service descriptions using noun & modifier methodology and proper UOM.
• Analyze data from OEMs, manufacturers, vendors, and existing catalogs.
• Perform data cleansing to fix incomplete, inaccurate or duplicate records.
• Perform data enrichment by adding attributes and specifications.
• Standardize material descriptions, attributes, and units of measurement.
• Map attributes and assign group codes and UNSPSC for classification.
• Identify maintainable spare parts based on equipment needs.
• Support BOM structuring for equipment and parts.
• Maintain and update material and vendor master data within SLA timelines.
• Code and convert catalogs into a structured, standardized format.
