Job summary

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist 1 - Material Plan & Execution in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will plan and schedule materials to meet customer requirements, coordinating with regional teams and AMO to translate forecasts and orders into timely physical orders.

The role requires 2+ years in material planning or supply chain within manufacturing, with SAP/Excel experience; Power BI is a plus. PMP is preferred and you’ll work in a 1-year, extendable assignment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in material planning or supply chain in manufacturing
• Diploma/Associates degree or higher in supply chain or equivalent
• Proficient with MRP/MPS planning concepts
• PMP is preferred
• Experience with SAP and Excel; Power BI preferred
• Industry experience in manufacturing/oil & gas is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Forecast regional and global demand (12–18 months) with regional sales/ops
• Convert demand plans into physical orders and manage timelines
• Analyze demand for exceptions and inventory opportunities
• Plan schedules to balance customer requirements with inventory and shipping costs
• Prioritize delivery dates with Sales/Service Delivery
• Perform material management analyses (consumption, aging, safety stock)
• Implement stocking strategies and monitor safety stock levels
• Coordinate with AMO for spare parts and asset demands
• Support S&OP processes for new/ reusable assets

Role Summary: -

Responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Works with the sales and commercial team, region personnel, AMO and supply chain to translate the demand (forecasts, sales orders, planned orders) across multiple time horizons in to physical orders and ensures they are delivered to meet the customer requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Works with the region sales and operations to create the regional forecast (12-18 mo) and global forecasts
• Works with the sales and operations team to convert the demand plans into physical orders. Understands business trends, opportunities and how they impact the demand forecast.
• Analyzes incoming demand: identifies order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategy and opportunities to utilize existing inventory
• Plans and schedules order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs
• Works with the Product Line/Sales/Service Delivery to prioritize deliver dates as needed (push outs, pull ins)
• Performs various material management analysis such as statistical material consumption and forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
• Implements inventory stocking strategies
• Monitor levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory and works with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly
• Works with the AMO organization to ensure spare parts and asset demands are captured
• Works to ensure new assets, repaired assets and spares are captured with the Sales & Operations Planning process
• Assists in executing continuous improvement projects to maximize value.

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):

• Years of experience: 2+ years of experience in material planning, production planning or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment
• Field of experience: Associates Degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years experience)
• Technical Skills: understanding or MRP/MPS planning concept
• Soft Skills: strong ownership and accountability, proactive and self driven, good communication, ability to work under pressure, detailed oriented, team player with professional attitude.
• Tools or Software (Required / Preferred): SAP, Microsoft excel and preferably power BI.
• Education Qualifications: Diploma or higher in supply chain or equivalent
• Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): preferred in manufacturing or industrial oil and gas industry.
• Target Companies: Manufacturing companies with SAP based planning, oil and gas service companies.
• Off-limits Companies: N/A
• Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including Driving License: PMP is preferred
