Responsibilities
  • Overall Business Leadership: provide end-to-end leadership of the destination, ensuring alignment between vision, brand, and execution; translate ownership strategy into clear operational and commercial priorities; act as the ultimate escalation point for all venue-wide decisions.
  • Financial & Commercial Management: full P&L ownership across all revenue streams; lead budgeting and forecasting; cost control and margin optimisation; Capex and ROI evaluation; establish robust financial reporting and performance dashboards; drive commercial strategies to maximise covers, spend per head, dwell time, and non-F&B revenue streams.
  • Operations & Infrastructure: oversee all operational departments including restaurant operations, entertainment operations, facilities & maintenance, security, safety, and crowd management; implement SOPs, playbooks, and service standards suitable for replication at scale; ensure operational readiness during peak seasons and major events.
  • Legal, Compliance & Government Relations: ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations and health, safety, food safety, and licensing standards; act as senior interface with government bodies, regulators and strategic partners; oversee contracts, risk management, insurance, and legal exposure.
  • Brand, Creative & Experience Governance: safeguard the creative vision of The Groves while ensuring commercial and operational feasibility; work closely with marketing, events, and creative teams to deliver signature moments, seasonal activations, and experiential programming; balance innovation with consistency and brand control.
  • People Leadership & Culture: build and lead a high-calibre leadership team across finance, operations, culinary, entertainment, HR and support functions; set a culture of accountability, excellence, and hospitality leadership; mentor general managers and senior leaders to support future expansion.
  • Scaling & Replication: mandate to design a repeatable operating model; standardise financial frameworks, operational SOPs, and compliance/governance structures; prepare the business for multi-site rollouts and strategic partnerships; act as a long-term steward of the brand across Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications
  • Senior leadership experience as Managing Director, COO, or General Manager of fine-dining restaurant groups, large hospitality destinations, or entertainment/experiential venues.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with full P&L responsibility.
  • Proven experience managing complex, high-volume, premium operations.
  • Comfortable operating within government-led and highly regulated environments.
  • Experience in the Middle East or Saudi Arabia is highly advantageous.
  • Able to balance creative ambition with operational discipline.
