Job summary

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Director - Group Accounting to lead the group accounting function, consolidate financial statements under IFRS, and shape the reporting framework.

You will drive policy development, internal controls, and timely reports for executives, while mentoring the accounting team and coordinating with auditors and regulators in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or ACCA highly preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in group accounting with leadership.
• Strong IFRS, consolidation, and regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the group accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements per IFRS and local standards.
• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure financial integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulators during audits and reviews.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive team.
• Monitor changes in standards and drive necessary organizational changes.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance accuracy and efficiency of reporting.
• Mentor and develop accounting professionals within the group.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join us as Director - Group Accounting. In this executive role, you will oversee the group accounting function and play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial reporting framework and accounting policies.

As the Director of Group Accounting, you will lead the consolidation of financial statements across the group, ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards, and provide insightful financial analyses to support strategic decision-making. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of the financial reporting process.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the group accounting team to prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are highly preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in group accounting, with significant leadership experience in a similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS, financial consolidation, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex financial reporting in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills
