Job summary

Al Safi Danone (ASD) is seeking a Maintenance Technician for filling and dairy process equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose faults, and work to maximize equipment availability across manufacturing operations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, support planning, and help improve reliability and efficiency in a fast-paced dairy environment. The role offers opportunities for growth within the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related technical field.
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience in Dairy, FMCG, Food & Beverage, or Manufacturing industries.
• Experience in filling equipment, dairy process equipment, or both.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience working with automated production equipment.
• Strong knowledge of dairy manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities on filling, packaging, and dairy process equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repairs, replacements, and adjustments as required.
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime through effective maintenance practices.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support production teams in resolving technical issues affecting operations.
• Assist in improving equipment performance and reliability through effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Execute maintenance work orders according to maintenance schedules and priorities.
• Support maintenance planning activities and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Monitor equipment performance and contribute to improving operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper utilization of maintenance tools, materials, and resources.
• Support spare parts monitoring and report shortages when required.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs within the maintenance department.

Role Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining filling, packaging, and dairy process equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
