Job summary

Napco National Company seeks a Maintenance Technician to receive repair requests, perform repairs per WI and machine manuals, and restore machines to operational condition. You will seek guidance for troubleshooting, request necessary spare parts, and ensure the area is cleaned and documented after tasks.

Responsibilities include recording times and findings on the RRF, obtaining approvals, handling scheduled maintenance, calibration tasks, and applying 5S standards to improve working conditions.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills required; a Technical Institute degree is preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance work instructions and machine manuals is desirable.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair tasks and perform activities per WI and machine manuals to restore condition.
• Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader help for troubleshooting breakdowns as needed.
• Request spare parts via form and obtain pre-approval to ensure proper consumption.
• Clean work area after repair per Post Maintenance Cleaning WI and document results on the RRF.
• Record finishing time, task details, and any findings on the RRF and obtain approvals as required.
• Coordinate with Production Team Leader for feedback and approval on RRF prior to final submission.
• Handle scheduled and preventive maintenance tasks following checklists and flag new findings.
• Carry out in-house calibration tasks as instructed by Maintenance Team Leader.
• Perform 5S duties to enhance the working condition.

• Receive Repair Request tasks from Maintenance Team Leader and carry-out repair activities in accordance with the set Work Instructions (WI) and Machine Manuals in order to get the machine back into adequate working condition.
• Seek Lead Technician or Team Leader assistance in troubleshooting breakdowns upon need.
• Request Spare Parts using the Spare Parts Requisition Form and relay the request to Maintenance Team Leader for pre-approval in order to insure adequate spare part consumption.
• Upon repair completion, clean the working area according to Post Maintenance Cleaning WI in order to handle back the area clean and free from any work residues.
• Upon repair completion, write the Finishing Time, task description, any pending tasks or newly discovered findings on the Repair Request Form (RRF) in order to document records.
• Upon repair completion, seek Production Team Leader feed-back and approval on the RRF, prior to submitting same to Maintenance Team Leader to ensure Production satisfaction on the performed task.
• Receive Scheduled and Preventive Maintenance tasks from Maintenance Team Leader, carry-out activities according to the set checklists and highlight any new finding for further scheduling.

Safety

• Become familiar with the health and safety procedures and instructions of his/her function(s) of work.
• Follow NAPCO-IFP safety standards and comply with Saudi Labor rules and legislation.
• Contribute in the different OH&S activities and attend safety meetings as required.
• Attend all training offered by the company.
• Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions or acts to his/her direct supervisor, or to the camp boss in case they are related to the accommodation.
• Immediately correct unsafe conditions, if safe to do so and where possible.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are in place before starting any work.
• Refuse to perform work when unsafe conditions exist.
• Report all incidents and near misses to their supervisor.
• Use the provided PPE safety equipment.
• Inspect tools, equipment and vehicles before use.
• Be familiar with the emergency response plan and location of first aid, firefighting equipment.

Required Job Qualifications & Competencies

• Education & Experience

Reading, Writing and Arithmetic skills required. This is preferably acquired through a Technical Institute degree.
