Job summary

Sigma Paints Saudi Arabia, part of the PPG Group, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery and utility systems in our Dammam plant.

The role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, minimizing downtime, and ensuring Safe, Reliable operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machines to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to maintain production flow.
• Identify faults, execute necessary repairs, and restore machinery functionality.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Assist in managing the spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components.
• Support installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and update technical manuals.
• Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance procedures and reliability.

• Identify faults, execute necessary repairs, and ensure quick restoration of machinery functionality.
• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
• Assist in managing the spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical components.
• Support the installation and commissioning of new machines and production equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, log repairs, and update technical manuals.
• Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance procedures and increase equipment reliability.
