Job summary

Saudi Aramco Total Refining and Petrochemical Company (SATORP) seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineering leader to govern and optimize maintenance programs for mechanical and instrumentation assets. You will drive strategic initiatives, oversee routine and turnaround activities, and ensure adherence to HSSE standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
10-15 years of experience in relevant refinery or petrochemical environments.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with HSSE, regulatory, and technical requirements across Maintenance Engineering activities.
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of Maintenance Engineering programs, including maintenance cost optimization, risk-based maintenance, failure analysis, and asset performance improvement initiatives.
Provide Engineering leadership and coordination for Routine maintenance, Critical Equipment maintenance, Turnarounds, shutdowns and asset integrity initiatives.
Govern Engineering standards, Maintenance strategies, and Maintenance procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and optimized asset performance.
Direct and approve troubleshooting activities and Maintenance Engineering recommendations to mitigate operational risks and enhance equipment reliability.
Ensure development, implementation, and continuous improvement of preventive, predictive, corrective and condition-based Maintenance programs for Mechanical and Instrumentation assets.
Oversee monitoring of equipment reliability, maintenance effectiveness, recurring failures, and technical risks, ensuring timely corrective actions and sustainable improvements.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and operational discipline through leadership and development of Maintenance Engineering personnel.
Define departmental priorities, allocate resources, and ensure successful delivery of Maintenance Engineering objectives in line with business goals.
Govern spare parts optimization strategies to ensure availability of critical materials while balancing reliability, risk, and cost.
Ensure effective utilization of CMMS to control maintenance activities and asset integrity.
