Job summary

Hilton is seeking a Maintenance/Shift Engineer to help maintain the hotel’s safety and functionality, delivering the warmth of hospitality with every guest interaction. You’ll handle repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry, perform preventive maintenance, document activities, and respond to service requests to keep operations running smoothly for guests and team members.

As a Maintenance/Shift Engineer, you’re not just helping maintain the hotel’s physical safety and functionality – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• Support hotel facility maintenance Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑house areas: Support hotel facility maintenance Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Support a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry
• Assist with preventive maintenance inspections: Inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
