Job summary

MEMF Power Transformer seeks an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive, predictive, and corrective programs for production equipment. You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical faults, perform RCA, and drive reliability improvements across transformers, MCCs, PLCs, and control systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–10 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, MCCs, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and protection systems.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
• Proven fault diagnosis and root cause analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and plant facilities.
• Lead troubleshooting, diagnosis, and rectification of electrical/mechanical equipment failures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure availability and reliability of critical equipment used in transformer manufacturing and assembly.
• Review electrical drawings, control circuits, manuals, and technical docs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and HSE teams for safe operations.

Our 15,000-square-meter production facility is equipped with modern and latest machinery and certified testing equipment, combined with a highly skilled and competent technical workforce to manufacture a wide range of power, distribution, and special transformers. We also specialize in precision measuring and protection devices and have been a leading supplier of KWH meters since 1999. Advanced manufacturing for high-quality utility products. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and plant facilities.
• Lead the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and rectification of electrical and mechanical equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of critical equipment used in power transformer manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and eliminate recurring failures.
• Supervise maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns, major maintenance activities, and equipment overhauls.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational safety.
• Review electrical drawings, control circuits, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a Power Transformer Manufacturing environment or heavy electrical industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, MCCs, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and protection systems.
• Solid understanding of maintenance strategies, including Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance.
• Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and Root Cause Analysis.
