Job summary

MEMF Power Transformer in Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer to develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and plant facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a Power Transformer manufacturing environment, with strong skills in electrical systems, motors, transformers, MCCs, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5–10 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, motors, transformers, MCCs, PLCs, VFDs, and protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for production equipment and plant facilities.
• Lead the troubleshooting, diagnosis, and rectification of electrical and mechanical equipment failures to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure the availability and reliability of critical equipment used in power transformer manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Analyze equipment breakdowns and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify and eliminate recurring failures.
• Supervise maintenance activities and provide technical guidance to maintenance technicians.
• Coordinate planned shutdowns, major maintenance activities, and equipment overhauls.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and operational safety.
• Review electrical drawings, control circuits, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, KPIs, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and HSE teams to ensure smooth and safe plant operations.

Key Requirements:

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a Power Transformer Manufacturing environment or heavy electrical industry.
• Strong practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, transformers, MCCs, control panels, PLCs, VFDs, and protection systems.
• Solid understanding of maintenance strategies, including Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective Maintenance.
• Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and Root Cause Analysis.
