Job summary

KBR, Inc is seeking a Commercial Head to manage subcontracting activities for maintenance projects at Jubail, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on scoping, bidding, and contracting to deliver world-class maintenance execution.

You will lead bidding processes, enforce HSSEQ and QA/QC standards, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure cost-effective contract delivery in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 12+ years’ experience in contracting.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of SAP system.
• Strong understanding of bidding processes for maintenance activities.
• Strong understanding of contracts administration, cost control and budgeting.
• Good technical understanding of maintenance execution management.
• Good technical understanding of people management.
• Well organized and proactive.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations.
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
• Strategic thinking; open to new ideas.
• Ability to achieve business results in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work for maintenance activities to be executed via contractors.
• Develop evaluation criteria and preliminary cost estimation for contracts.
• Coordinate and manage all activities related to issuing Instructions to Bid, kickoff meetings with contractors and evaluation of offers.
• Ensure HSSEQ policies/programs are implemented within contracts.
• Ensure QA/QC requirements and KPIs are included in all maintenance contracts.
