Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Non-Management Maintenance professional to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventative maintenance on hotel tools and equipment.

You will identify shut-off valves, maintain inventory, and follow all safety policies while upholding the Gold Standards of The Ritz-Carlton. You will welcome guests according to company standards, address service needs, and work with a team to ensure high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Communicate with guests to resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
• Carry equipment (tools, radio).
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Record information for unfinished calls prior to shift change.
• Follow safety policies and procedures; report hazards, accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; store flammable materials.
• Ensure uniform and professional appearance; protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests; anticipate service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; listen and respond to concerns of other employees.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Move and handle objects weighing up to 50 pounds; move up and down stairs, ramps, ladders; reach overhead and bend/twist.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by Supervisors.

Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree
