Job summary

Raffles & Fairmont the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to lead Reception/Guest Service Agents, ensuring smooth shifts, top-notch guest service, and coordination with Butler, Housekeeping and Engineering. You will manage staff breaks, shifts, and communications across departments.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory luxury-hotel experience, strong cash handling, and bilingual English/Arabic abilities; a hospitality diploma and PMS knowledge are

Qualifications

• Proficient in English and Arabic (verbal & written)
• Third language is an asset
• Must handle a multitude of tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible in working hours
• Hospitality diploma is an asset
• Knowledge of Property Management System and Windows
• Prior experience in customer service is an asset
• Proven ability to handle cash effectively and accurately

Responsibilities

• Supervise Receptionists/Guest Service Agents to ensure tasks meet Raffles standards
• Ensure staff breaks align with hours worked
• Maintain adequate staff coverage at Lobby and Front Desk
• Keep Front Office and surrounding areas clean and tidy
• Be competent in reception and cashier duties
• Cover shifts and Rooms Coordinator shifts when required
• Coordinate with other departments for special guest requirements
• Greet VIP guests and manage guest arrivals/departures
• Handover at end of shift with relieving staff
• Coordinate with Housekeeping on room turn-downs when occupancy allows
• Liaise with Concierge for baggage handling
• Monitor late cancellations and no-shows and charge when appropriate
• Communicate memos during handovers
• Check next day arrivals, car/restaurant/theatre bookings
• Coordinate with Rooms Coordinator on room allocations
• Manage room moves and communicate with departments
• Check potential room revenue discrepancies and correct
• Monitor daily financial goals, LQA, TrustYou and Forbes targets
