Job summary

Al Watania Information Systems (Wisys) seeks a hands-on Logistics Operations Associate to align warehouse activity with Transportation Management and Fleet Management systems. You will meet drivers on site, verify loads, and coordinate dock flow to match system schedules.

You will monitor order lifecycles, troubleshoot data bottlenecks, and generate weekly reports on on-time delivery, driver utilization, and freight costs using TMS/FMS dashboards.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate in SCM, logistics, industrial engineering or business analytics.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Able to quickly learn new software and adapt to on-site operations.

Responsibilities

• On-the-Ground Operations: Meet drivers, dispatchers, and AVL technicians on site.
• Verify deployment against TMS/FMS data before loading/unloading.
• Dock Flow Coordination with warehouse team to ensure correct truck sequencing.
• Order Lifecycle Monitoring: Track orders from placement to transport planning in the TMS.
• System Exception Handling: Troubleshoot dashboards to prevent delays (API fails, bottlenecks).
• Digital Dispatching: Use TMS & FMS to assign carriers, dispatch drivers, and log milestones.
• Data Extraction & Reporting: Pull data from all systems and create weekly KPIs on on-time delivery, driver utilization, freight costs.

Job description

Role Purpose

This role is the bridge between our digital control teams and the operation team. Candidate will be on the ground, ensuring that what happens on the warehouse floor and loading docks perfectly matches what is happening inside our Transportation Management and Fleet Management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• On-the-Ground Operations
• Physically meet drivers, dispatchers, and AVL technicians at the site.
• Verify actual deployment against the Transportation Management and Fleet Management systems data before clearing them for loading/unloading.
• Dock Flow Coordination: Work side-by-side with the warehouse team to ensure the right trucks are physically loaded in the exact sequence optimized by the TMS.

Systems Management & Data Integrity

• Order Lifecycle Monitoring: Track orders in the TMS from the moment they are placed, ensuring they transition smoothly into the TMS for transport planning.
• System Exception Handling: Monitor dashboards for digital bottlenecks (e.g., failed API syncs, stuck orders, or routing errors) and troubleshoot them immediately to prevent delivery delays.
• Digital Dispatching: Use the TMS & FMS to assign carriers, dispatch drivers, and log real-time delivery milestones.
• Data Extraction & Reporting: Pull raw operational data from all three systems to create weekly reports on key metrics like on-time delivery rates, driver utilization, and freight costs.
