Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field with 3–6 years of manufacturing logistics experience.
  • At least 2 years in import/export logistics or customs operations, with knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
  • Experience with sea/air freight processes, HS codes, VAT, and international shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound logistics for raw materials, robotic components, electronic modules, and assembly parts.
  • Support uninterrupted material supply to production lines, maintenance, and R&D activities.
  • Manage outbound deliveries of finished solar robots, automated machinery, and spare parts.
  • Plan project and site logistics for EPC installations with just-in-time coordination.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, contractors, vendors, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
  • Manage reverse logistics for returned, defective, or spare units.
  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation: invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, AWBs, Certificates of Origin, and HS Codes.
  • Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs requirements, VAT, SABER, SASO, and ZATCA requirements.
  • Monitor freight costs, storage, demurrage, and detention to prevent delays and unnecessary costs.
  • Support warehouse receipt, storage, dispatch, inventory accuracy, and safe handling of robotic and electronic equipment.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive Logistics Specialist to manage the end-to-end movement of materials, robotic systems, and finished equipment across our manufacturing facility and solar energy projects. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the role will work closely with production, project teams, suppliers, freight partners, and clients to ensure safe, compliant, timely, and cost-effective deliveries to factories, warehouses, solar farms, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinating inbound logistics for raw materials, robotic components, electronic modules, and assembly parts
  • Supporting uninterrupted material supply to production lines, maintenance workshops, and R&D activities
  • Managing outbound deliveries of finished solar robots, automated cleaning machines, and spare parts
  • Planning project and site logistics for EPC installations, including delivery sequencing and just-in-time coordination
  • Coordinating with project managers, site engineers, contractors, vendors, freight forwarders, and transport providers
  • Managing reverse logistics for returned, defective, or spare units
  • Preparing and verifying shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading, AWBs, Certificates of Origin, and HS Codes
  • Ensuring compliance with Incoterms, customs requirements, VAT, and relevant local regulations, including SABER, SASO, and ZATCA requirements
  • Monitoring freight costs, storage, demurrage, and detention to prevent delays and avoid unnecessary costs
  • Supporting warehouse receipt, storage, dispatch, inventory accuracy, and the safe handling of sensitive robotic and electronic equipment
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, English, or a related field
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing logistics, project cargo, industrial automation, or supply chain, including at least 2 years in import/export logistics or customs operations
  • Practical knowledge of sea and air freight processes, customs-clearance practices, and bulk-trade logistics; experience in renewable energy or automated machinery is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020, HS Code classification, international shipping, and GCC import/export requirements
  • Familiarity with customs-declaration systems and international logistics tracking platforms, such as QP or equivalent systems
  • Good understanding of import/export regulations in key international markets, including the United States, European Union, and Southeast Asia
  • Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to independently handle English contracts, emails, and communication with international suppliers and customers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Office automation tools, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
  • Strong logical thinking, analytical, planning, coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • A service-oriented mindset, strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative leadership approach
