Job summary

Lazurde Company For Jewelry seeks a senior procurement and logistics leader to coordinate end-to-end operations in KSA, ensuring timely availability and optimal cost while complying with company policies and Saudi regulations.

You will oversee procurement, logistics, and warehouse activities, manage suppliers and logistics partners, and drive improvements across the supply chain in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in procurement, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Strong hands-on experience in KSA logistics, customs clearance, and import regulations.
• Solid knowledge of local and international procurement processes, shipping, freight forwarding, and transportation.
• Experience managing suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, and third-party logistics providers.
• Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Experience supervising teams and managing operational KPIs.
• Fluent English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Lead local and international purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and follow-up.
• Logistics & Customs: Manage inbound/outbound logistics, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and transport.
• Warehouse & Inventory: Oversee receiving, storage, picking, dispatching, stock control, and cycle counts.
• B2B & B2C Fulfillment: Ensure efficient local orders, e-commerce delivery, returns, and last-mile delivery.
• Supplier & Logistics Partner mgmt: Monitor SLAs, service quality, and cost outcomes.
• Cost & Working Capital Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining stock levels.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Adhere to policies and regulatory requirements.
• Team Supervision: Lead Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams and monitor KPIs.
• Process Improvement: Continuously optimize processes to reduce lead times and costs.

Job description

Reporting to: VP Operations

Role Purpose

Manage and coordinate end-to-end procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations in KSA, ensuring timely availability and efficient movement of materials and products at optimal cost, while maintaining compliance with company policies and Saudi customs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement Management: Lead local and international purchasing activities, including sourcing, quotation analysis, supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and follow-up, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, timely delivery, and continuity of supply within approved budgets.
• Logistics & Customs: Manage end-to-end inbound and outbound logistics, including freight forwarding, shipping documentation, customs clearance, transportation, and final delivery. Ensure full compliance with KSA customs regulations and import requirements.
• Warehouse & Inventory Management: Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, dispatching, stock control, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation, ensuring accurate inventory records and proper handling of high-value materials and products.
• B2B & B2C Fulfillment: Ensure efficient fulfillment and delivery of local B2B and B2C orders, including e-commerce orders, last-mile delivery, returns, and customer-related delivery requirements.
• Supplier & Logistics Partner Management: Manage relationships and performance of suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and logistics service providers. Monitor SLAs, service quality, delivery performance, and cost effectiveness.
• Cost & Working Capital Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize purchasing, freight, transportation, warehousing, and inventory costs while maintaining appropriate stock levels and supporting working-capital objectives.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to L'azurde policies, procedures, delegated authorities, approval processes, and internal controls, as well as applicable KSA customs, import, transportation, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Supervision: Supervise and support the Procurement, Logistics, and Warehouse teams, ensuring clear responsibilities, effective workload management, performance monitoring, and achievement of agreed KPIs.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve procurement, logistics, warehouse, and fulfillment processes to increase efficiency, reduce lead times and costs, minimize operational risks, and improve service levels.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with Production, Planning, Sales, E-Commerce, Finance, Retail, and Operations teams to ensure procurement, inventory, and logistics activities are aligned with business requirements and customer needs.

Key Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Warehouse Operations, preferably within retail, manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in KSA logistics, customs clearance, and import regulations.
• Solid knowledge of local and international procurement processes, shipping, freight forwarding, and transportation.
