Job summary

BRKZ, a fast-growing construction-tech startup in Saudi Arabia, seeks a Logistics Officer to lead daily dispatch, negotiate transport rates, and expand our transporter network. You will manage documentation, ensure on-time deliveries, and collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Suppliers to prevent bottlenecks.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in logistics/transport procurement in Saudi Arabia, a degree in logistics or related field, and fluency in Arabic with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in logistics, dispatch, or transport procurement in Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or equivalent field.
• Deep understanding of Saudi road transport, vehicle types, weight limits, loading orders (including FASAH).
• Proven track record of negotiating transport rates and reducing freight costs.
• Native Arabic speaker with strong English communication.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and dashboards; familiarity with Metabase and OPS Portal.

• Transporter Sourcing & Network Building: Build and onboard high-quality local transport providers.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Account Managers, Finance, and Suppliers.
• Tech-Driven Tracking: Use dashboards and fleet platforms to monitor shipments and driver performance.

As a Logistics Officer at BRKZ, you will be the backbone of our ground operations, ensuring construction materials flow smoothly from factories and supplier yards directly to customer job sites across the Kingdom. You will manage daily dispatch operations, negotiate competitive transport rates, expand our transporter network, and ensure 100% accurate documentation and operational compliance.

This is a high-visibility execution role perfect for a proactive, resilient problem-solver who thrives under pressure, builds strong relationships with drivers and transporters, and understands Saudi Arabia's road freight ecosystem inside out.

What You will do (Responsibilities) :

• Fleet Coordination & Daily Dispatch: Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily shipments (bulk materials, cement, flatbed loads, heavy haulage) to guarantee on-time delivery across customer sites.
• Transporter Sourcing & Network Building: Continuously source, qualify, and onboard high-quality local transport providers to build robust multi-transporter redundancy across every trade lane in the Kingdom.
• Rate Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate freight and haulage rates, build competitive lane-by-lane rate cards, and drive down freight cost per unit while maintaining service reliability.
• Operational Paperwork & Reconciliation: Oversee delivery notes (DN), weight tickets, factory loading orders (including FASAH for cement), and accurately reconcile quantities delivered against Purchase Orders (POs) and transporter invoices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with BRKZ Operations, Account Managers, Finance, and Supplier teams to resolve field issues quickly and prevent delivery bottlenecks.
• Tech-Driven Tracking: Leverage internal dashboards, route planning, and fleet platforms (BOB, OPS Portal, Metabase) to monitor shipments in real time and track driver performance metrics

Who You are (Qualifications) :

• Experience: 2-5 years in logistics, dispatch, or transport procurement in Saudi Arabia (construction materials/heavy haulage preferred).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent field experience.
• KSA Transport Knowledge: Deep understanding of Saudi road transport, vehicle types, weight limits, loading orders (including FASAH), and site/factory procedures.
• Rate Negotiation: Proven track record of negotiating transport rates, building rate cards, and reducing freight unit costs.
• Network & Paperwork: Ability to source and onboard transporters quickly; high accuracy with delivery notes, weight tickets, and PO reconciliation.
• Languages: Native Arabic speaker with very good English communication skills.
• Tech & Mobility: Proficient in Google Sheets/dashboards; quick to adapt to tech portals (Metabase, OPS Portal); valid Saudi driving license with willingness to conduct site/factory visits.

Preferred

• Existing kingdom-wide network of bulker and flatbed transporters.
• Experience with GPS fleet tracking apps, DN-to-invoice finance reconciliation, or AI document checks.
• Background in a high-growth startup or B2B marketplace environment.
