Job summary

Confidential Government in Jeddah is seeking a Logistics Control Tower Specialist to support daily transportation operations, monitor shipments, and coordinate with drivers, transporters, and internal teams. You will track delivery status, manage PODs, report delays, assist route planning, and help improve on-time performance while following safety procedures.

1–3 years in logistics preferred; diploma or degree required; Excel skills essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, fleet operations, or Control Tower operations preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Willingness to work shifts if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily transportation and delivery operations through the Control Tower.
• Track trucks, shipments, and delivery status.
• Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.
• Follow up on delayed shipments and resolve operational issues.
• Update shipment status and transportation records in the system.
• Monitor vehicle movement, loading, unloading, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare daily transportation and delivery reports.
• Report delays, accidents, vehicle breakdowns, or other operational issues.
• Support route planning and truck allocation when required.
• Ensure Proof of Delivery (POD) and transportation documents are collected and properly maintained.
• Monitor transporter and driver performance against agreed KPIs.
• Support the team in improving on-time delivery and transportation efficiency.
• Follow company safety and transportation procedures.
