Job summary

Gulf Workforce is seeking a Logistics Officer to plan, coordinate, and monitor movements of materials for Pipe Coating Services operations. You will maintain inventory accuracy and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

You will coordinate shipments, manage warehouse records, and support procurement and project teams to resolve supply issues, while tracking costs and driving continuous improvement in logistics performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or materials coordination, preferably within oil & gas, construction, or industrial services.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including booking transport and liaising with carriers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts.
• Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming materials; prepare and check dispatch documentation.
• Coordinate with transport providers and the company fleet for timely delivery.
• Liaise with procurement to track order status and expedite urgent shipments.
• Prepare and maintain required logistics documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Work with project teams to prioritize material requests and resolve supply issues quickly.
• Monitor freight costs and suggest cost-effective routing and consolidation opportunities.
