Job summary

Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah, part of Accor, invites you to join a luxury hospitality team near Al Masjid Al Nabawi. We seek a professional butler to deliver personalized service and coordinate with departments to ensure flawless guest experiences.

You will lead with elegance, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to varying shifts, including weekends. English is required, with Turkish or French; Arabic is highly desirable in our culturally rich environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a butler or in luxury hospitality at a similar level.
• Supervisory experience leading a service team.
• Strong communication with guests and departments.
• Knowledge of etiquette and luxury service standards.
• Fluency in English and Turkish or French; Arabic desired.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and preferences.
• Provide personalized luxury service throughout the stay.
• Handle guest requests and special arrangements discreetly.
• Assist VIP guests and organize special occasions.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and other departments.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
• Maintain high standards of grooming, etiquette, confidentiality, and luxury hospitality

Job Description

Qualifications

• Minimum 0-2 years of experience as a butler or in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
• Proven supervisory experience in managing a team of service professionals
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, team members, and other departments
• Strong leadership abilities and a talent for mentoring and developing staff
• Proficiency in household management software and MS Office suite
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Superior time management and multitasking abilities
• In-depth knowledge of etiquette, protocol, and luxury service standards
• Familiarity with Middle Eastern customs and etiquette is highly advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
• Professional butler certification is a plus

• Fluency in English and either Turkish or French is required. Proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
