Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking a Rotating Equipment Inspector to oversee inspection and compliance for rotating machinery across oil, gas, refinery, and pipeline projects. The role requires hands-on NDT experience and strong knowledge of international standards.

The candidate will review drawings and reports, monitor equipment installation and testing, and ensure QMS adherence. Saudi driving licence is mandatory and local transfer is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 4+ years of inspection experience.
• Two-year Industrial/Technical Diploma with 8+ years of inspection experience.
• Proven experience inspecting, designing, and operating rotating equipment.
• Good knowledge of NDT methods: MT, PT, UT, VT, RTFI.
• Familiarity with international standards, API 686.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and inspection procedures.
• Valid Saudi Driving Licence (Mandatory).
• Local transfer candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, motors) during installation, maintenance, and commissioning.
• Verify compliance with project specs and international codes.
• Perform and review inspections using NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT, RTFI).
• Review engineering drawings, inspection reports, test records, and quality docs.
• Monitor alignment, installation, testing, and readiness of equipment.
• Identify non-conformities and prepare inspection reports with corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to QMS, safety procedures, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to complete inspections on time.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, generators, and motors during installation, maintenance, and commissioning.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) with 4+ years of inspection experience; OR
• Two-year Industrial/Technical Diploma with 8+ years of relevant inspection experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or Pipeline industry.
• Proven experience in the inspection, design, and operation of rotating equipment.
• Good knowledge of NDT methods (MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI).
• Familiarity with international standards, particularly API 686.
• Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and inspection procedures.
