Job summary

Rotana seeks a Certified Lifeguard to ensure the safety of swimmers and guests at our facility. The ideal candidate will prevent accidents, enforce rules, and respond quickly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities include supervising guests, enforcing pool rules, performing rescues and first aid, inspecting pools for hazards, and delivering excellent service. Must be physically fit and Lifeguard certified. GCC National preferred. Closing date 5 December 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Lifeguard by a recognized organization.
• Must meet physical fitness requirements and be able to perform rescues and administer first aid.

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers and guests to prevent accidents and ensure their safety at all times.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
• Respond to emergencies, perform rescues and administer first aid as needed.
• Inspect pool and surrounding areas for hazards and address potential risks.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with swimmers, guests, and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool area and equipment.

• Respond promptly and efficiently to emergencies, performing rescues and administering first aid as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool and surrounding areas to identify and address potential hazards.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with swimmers, guests, and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool equipment, changing rooms, and other related areas.

Experience Required:

• Physical fitness and the ability to perform rescues and administer first aid when necessary.

Education Qualifications:

• Must be certified as a Lifeguard by a recognized organization.

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of water safety procedures
• Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
