Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate in Building Structures to lead the structural engineering discipline on major projects in the Riyadh region. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, drive technical excellence, and ensure delivery of complex buildings with multidisciplinary teams across the UAE, KSA, and beyond.

You will oversee calculations, drawings, and specifications while mentoring engineers and BIM staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering; Master’s preferred.
18+ years of experience in structural engineering, including leadership on large-scale projects.
Proven track record in managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering complex projects.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction for structural engineering across multiple projects with technical excellence and standards compliance.
Serve as the primary client interface for structural matters and build strong relationships for satisfaction.
Oversee development and delivery of structures for large-scale buildings, reviewing calculations, drawings, and specs.
Drive design innovation, digital tools, and sustainability initiatives.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources for timely delivery.
Mentor senior and graduate engineers and BIM teams in technical excellence.
Lead risk management and QA processes, including audits and compliance checks.
Represent the company in high-level meetings and industry forums.
