Job summary

SITA is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead development, maintenance, and support of enterprise-scale software applications. You will drive design, delivery, and releases while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet evolving business needs in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 5+ years in software engineering, strong Java and API skills, and experience with CoolGen. Proficiency in English and Arabic is required to succeed in our diverse, globally connected workplace in

Qualifications

• - 5+ years experience in a Software Engineering environment.
• - Proficiency in Java application development and support with modern practices.
• - Experience with CoolGen development and maintenance is highly desirable.
• - Strong understanding of APIs, web services, and distributed architectures.
• - Proficient in SDLC, Agile, change management and QA practices.
• - SQL and database technologies with data analysis and reporting skills.
• - Able to design, develop, maintain, and optimize software applications and interfaces.
• - Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• - Fluent in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• - Lead development, maintenance, and support of enterprise-scale software applications and services.
• - Manage design, enhancement, and delivery of software solutions ensuring quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• - Oversee releases, defect resolution, and reporting; translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• - Manage end-to-end SDLC: planning, resource allocation, estimation, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
• - Promote best practices, standards, and process improvements; collaborate with architecture, operations, and project teams.
