Job summary

SITA in Riyadh is seeking a senior software engineering professional to lead development, maintenance and support of enterprise-scale applications, ensuring quality, security and reliability. You will drive complex issue resolution, coordinate releases, and collaborate across architecture, operations and business teams.

The role requires deep Java expertise, experience with CoolGen, and strong SDLC/Agile knowledge, with fluency in English and Arabic.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a Software Engineering environment.
• Proven expertise in Java application development and support.
• Experience with CoolGen development and maintenance is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of system integration concepts, APIs, web services, and distributed architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance and support of enterprise-scale software applications and services.

• Drive analysis and resolution of complex technical issues and root-cause investigations.

Job description

Manages a team of resources - FTEs Contractors Offshore - that develops implements maintains and supports software products and applications using appropriate processes methodologies and technologies in compliance with SITA s policies and procedures

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the development maintenance and support of enterprise-scale software applications integration services and business-critical systems Manage the design enhancement and delivery of software solutions utilizing Java CoolGen and related technologies ensuring high levels of quality security performance and reliability Oversee software releases system enhancements defect resolution and reporting capabilities while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions Drive the analysis and resolution of complex technical issues identify root causes and implement sustainable corrective actions to support operational excellence Manage the end-to-end software development lifecycle including planning resource allocation estimation implementation testing deployment and post-production support Promote the adoption of best practices development standards and process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness and system maintainability Work closely with architecture infrastructure operations and project teams to support technology transformation initiatives and ensure software solutions continue to meet evolving business and customer needs
